glory and gore go hand in hand that's why we're making headlines
PERSONALITY |
POSITIVE Enthusiastic Rare are the days that Remy doesn't jump into action. While not a morning person, and though often irritable in drowsy states, Remy is generally quite excitable and quick to celebrate the successes of others, just to have something to be excited about. Her actual interest in whatever happened and her connection to the person she's celebrating with meaning very little to her. Dauntless There are incredibly few things that worry Remy, and none of them have to do with herself. While this fearless nature often times leaves her to be incredibly reckless, it also tends to make her unstoppable. She'll stand up to anyone without so much as blinking, and her own stubbornness keeps her from backing down from difficult tasks. Personable Though loud and rather irritating at times- having very few boundaries to hold her back- Remy is incredibly friendly. Her desire to socialize and be around people makes her a bit of a social butterfly. Though often overly bold- and quite fond of hitting on anyone and everyone within a ten foot radius- around more relaxed people, she can be just as laid back. Accepting There are incredibly few things that perturb Remy, and she will associate with almost anyone, regardless of their faults or crimes. As long as they get along, Remy honestly couldn't care any less what someone does in their spare time, what they wear, how they make their money, or who they spend their night with. Perseverant The fighter is an unstoppable force of nature when she puts her mind to something. Almost nothing can push her off track. While this leaves her incredibly stubborn and often unwilling to accept when a bridge has been burned, it also makes her very hard to discourage and a rather good person to give tasks to. It's a rare day when she doesn't manage to complete something she legitimately wants to. Loyal While Remy rarely legitimately accepts people into her friend group- she prefers people to fill time and space, not people to actually bond with- when she does, she doesn't ever give up on them. Her friends are her friends until death do them part. Or until Balt decides enough is enough. Disciplined Though often very loose in morals and judgement, the second a chosen authority figure is within her line of sight, generally within the area, or has issued a command, Remy is all work and no play. Her lax disposition fades into the woodwork and her whole being is set to making herself out to be a model human being and loyal subordinate. She's comparable to a dog this way- incredibly well behaved in her owner's presence, and rather uncontrolled outside of it. Efficient Remy is straight to the point. She is forward in her wishes and desires, she doesn't beat around the bush, and she has absolutely no interest in spending more time on something than absolutely necessary. While she is thorough in her work and tries to not be sloppy in anything that she does, she doesn't dwaddle or waste time either. Confident No one loves or believes in Remy more than she does herself. There is no need to use others to prove her value. There is no need to be validated by others and there are very few people that could shake her self-love even a bit. Remy is full of love for herself and has no issues with sharing this knowledge with others. While this confidence borders on narcissism, it does allow her to know her full worth in everything she does. Reliable Having a strong work ethic- in things she wants to do, at least, or by people she dubs as her superiors- mixed with a lot of self-value, an efficient nature, and the ability to push herself right up until something's finished, you can trust Remy to complete any tasks. And beyond that, if she's chosen someone to be a part of her circle, the get the full perks of a protector; someone willing to do anything in her power to keep them safe and happy. LIKES Sunlight Bright weather and warming sunlight are right up Remy's alley. It isn't uncommon to find her napping on well-lit benches on warm days on the campus, nor is it that rare to find her sleeping on counters in front of a window, lying right in a strong burst of light. Naps Remy is all about sleep and lazing around. She loves naps. Sleeping through classes or lunch happens pretty often with her. Red Meat Red, rare meats are Remy's favorite foods to eat. Of course, she doesn't often get a chance to eat them, but when she does, she's the happiest person in the world. Fights A brawler at heart, Remy is all about fighting. Spars or real battles, she doesn't care. The confident girl loves competing with other people and getting a chance to pick up on their moves and learn from what they're doing. While she prefers physical battles, spellbattles are fine in her book as well. Taking Pictures And Remy doesn't like just any pictures. She likes selfies. She likes taking selfies with people she's with, and oh god, does she love pissing people off by sitting in their laps and taking as many selfies with the other person as she possibly can before they decide to acknowledge her. Remy's phone is filled to the brim with forced pictures of people she hangs out with. High Perches Remy loves heights, and she loves sleeping above ground level. In her dorm, her bed is set up as though to bunk just so she can be high up off the ground, and it's a pretty common sight to find her in trees or in odd corners that she probably shouldn't have been able to get into. Human Closeness While Remy desires little emotional contact with people, she yearns for physical nearness. Cuddling, touching, hugging, just holding hands, leaning on people; there's something deep inside of the girl that desires constant touch. Praise And Acknowledgement While Remy doesn't need to be told she's done a good job, it never hurts. She loves when others feed her ego and will eat praise as though it could actually sustain her. An easy way to get on Remy's good side is to tell her that she's doing a good job. Alcohol While technically Remy isn't allowed to drink it, Remy does a lot of things that she shouldn't do. Alcohol loosens her up and puts her in an even better mood. While the fighter does enjoy drinking quite a bit, she never drinks on her own, but instead only socially. Confident People Confidence is attractive, especially to this egomaniac. Anyone that's full of themself is someone she can take seriously and generally enjoys the presence of. Meek, self-doubting people irritate her, to say the least. | NEGATIVE Short-Tempered Even if she is incredibly social, Remy takes no bullshit. She does not need validation in order to feel powerful and beautiful, but that doesn't mean she'll take harassment sitting down. The fighter is a loaded gun cocked and ready to blow. If not told by someone she judges to be higher than her to simmer down, than at even small slights, Remy is all too willing to start a physical confrontation or spellbattle. Disconnected It's a rare day when Remy cares for the emotions of others. Though social and having a lot of 'friends', there are very few people she holds any value in. Her world is extremely small when anyone examines who holds true worth in her eyes, and it's rather rare for her to have any sympathy or even try to empathize with others. Overly Touchy-Feely Personal space means nothing to Remy. She will plant herself on the lap of someone she just met without issues. Hugs, kisses, and cuddles are all common things for anyone she decides to talk to, and she has no problems with practically draping herself across others just to feel close to someone. Promiscuous While it's a rare day when Remy actually decides to date someone, the party animal frequents the beds of quite a few people. And while incredibly loyal to friends, lovers often get the short end of the stick, with Remy only looking for something physical and nothing emotional. Dogmatic According to Remy, only her opinions and principals are the 'correct' ones. There is no budging on this and no reasoning with her. She is right and the rest of the world is wrong. It doesn't matter what proof or information is given to her. The only thing that matters is that she personally believes something. Obsessive A good deal of Remy's ideas and opinions revolve around anyone she decides to be higher than her in her mental hierarchy. These few chosen people are placed on pedastals and revered like gods. Her whole being is centered around them and she hangs off their every word. While these chosen people can reject her without fear of any harm coming to her, she entirely crumples without their attention, whether it be positive or negative. While confident and overwhelming without them, with them she is nothing but an overly-loyal dog or devote worshipper. Vindictive If someone were to wrong Remy or someone she's attached herself to, there is no forgiveness. The fighter will hold a grudge until her dying breath, and her trust is something nearly impossible to earn after she's been spited. Of course, due to the fact that Remy holds very little value in arguing with words, these grudges and hateships are often marked with constant physical fights. Abrasive Remy is blunt. There's no two ways about it. This often leaves her to rub people the wrong way. She will not water herself down for others' approval, and she will not have herself be belittled or disrespected. Often times, her harsh way of speaking can irritate others, particularly considering the fact that she is entirely unapologetic when it comes to her opinions. Dependent While somewhat capable of functioning on her own, it becomes blatantly apparent when she's around any of her 'higher ups' that her quality of life is particularly low when not directly influence by them. Yes, she can keep herself moving, but her decision-making skills are incredibly poor, and without someone to point out what she should and shouldn't do, Remy just goes wild. Domineering Not exactly the greatest quality to have in someone so needy, Remy is rather overbearing, doesn't back down, and honestly can't see her dependence on others. While she will openly admit how wrapped around the fingers of her superiors she is, when it comes to anyone else, the fighter always sees herself on top and will not back down under any circumstances. She refuses to be seen as a lesser or to be commanded around by anyone she hasn't chosen to be her keeper all on her own. DISLIKES Candy And Other Sweets While Remy loves food and eating, she doesn't have much of a sweet tooth. Fruits are fine, but she doesn't exactly fancy desserts or candies. Overly Soft Beds And Chairs If she feels like she's sinking into it, then Remy's uncomfortable. She would much prefer sitting or sleeping on the floor to a bed or chair that wasn't firm. Being Pressured Remy cannot be pushed into anything she doesn't want to do. While there's absolutely nothing wrong with asking her to do something, if she declined, then the answer's no and there's no changing her mind. The girl hates when anyone tries to push her hand or coax her into doing something she obviously has no interest in. Cooking Though a hefty eater, Remy has absolutely no cooking or baking skills. If she can't make it in a microwave, then Remy can't make it at all. Weak-Willed People Anyone who can't stick up for themself irritates Remy. While she'll use them when needed to get what she needs or desires, she has absolutely no interest in actually associating with them. Smoke The way that smoke clogs the air and makes it hard to breathe irritates Remy to the extreme. On top of that, the smell of it, in her opinion, is awful. For that reason, she generally hates fires and will avoid them whenever possible. Children Tiny, whiny, irritating beings; she has absolutely no patience for them. Remy isn't maternal in the slightest and absolutely hates when anyone suggests her to be such. She has no interest in dealing with or having children and hates when people tell her that she'll feel otherwise some day or seem to think that because she's a girl she wants to hold, coddle, or babysit their child. She has much better things to do. Pacifism Remy is a fighter in more ways than one, and often finds little reason to sit back and use words to settle things. The girl has a far worse bite than she does bark, and hates people who can't put their money where their mouth is. If you're going to talk the talk, you better also be prepared to walk the walk around Remy. Rejection While in normal situations Remy has no issues with being told no or to stop something, she outwardly fears being rejected or thrown away by the people she chooses to put on a pedestal, or by the people she's chosen to legitimately befriend. They mean the world to her, and their opinions often matter more to her than they might think, especially considering how confident Remy. Waiting Patience is a virtue that Remy does not have. She does not like waiting around or having to hold back for a more opportune moment. While she will when necessary, it doesn't mean that she's going to like it. |
HISTORY While it wasn't that Remy was unwanted, by the time she was four, she had been shuffled into the system. Born to a single, teenage mother, disowned for her mistake, and having no support from the father, life became more difficult than she could manage. Any desire to complete school completely fell apart after months of balancing child care, a full-time job and part-time on the weekends to afford her apartment, and trying to actually complete her studies. The least important thing just seemed to fall out of her list of priorities. Life was more important than schooling, and without help or any true life skills due to her age, Remy's mother simply gave up. Come time to put Remy through preschool, it became increasingly obvious to the public that her mother simply didn't have the living skills necessary to take care of herself, let alone the scraggly child she was struggling to nurture. Social services were quickly called in by her teacher, and after a bout of legal battling, Remy was whisked from her parent's arms and into that of the foster system. Remy passed through multiple foster homes, proving to be something of a problem child even from a young age. Bold, outspoken, and prone to outbursts of anger, the small child knew little fear. Constantly getting into fights with other children in the homes- even those much older, bigger, and stronger than her- she was found to need a more controlled environment to live in. A group home was her next option. Due to the constant moving around, Remy's grades were all over the place. She was either so far behind the other students that it was astounding, or so far ahead of them that she was bored and prone to causing as much trouble as she possibly could in order to avoid being idle for too long, due to schools teaching different things at different times. When she was finally settled into the group home however, it became apparent that her academic studies weren't something that she cared too much for. Through middle school, Remy's delinquency only improved. Vandalism throughout the school, breaking curfew, and generally continuing to be the same menace she'd been in years prior continued and increased with any mistake of responsibility and independence given to her because of her age. When high school came around and a scholarship to a prestigious academy was given to the girl, the staff at the group home couldn't help but be skeptical. Remy never showed any above average academic abilities- she barely showed average grades- and it wasn't exactly like she'd ever gotten into any sports. The only true achievement she'd had thus far was managing to not yet have a criminal record. Still, it wasn't exactly like they could turn down an offer from Blackwood Academy. Ninth grade came around, and the fighter learned that she was a blank, and that she was in high demand. It wasn't long before she was paired up with a junior whom had lost his fighter a couple years earlier to disease. The two hit it off quickly, and for once in her life, Remy fell into line. She listened, she paid attention in her classes, and for the most part was kept out of trouble. A certain neediness developed in Remy, and it became obvious to all around her that her sacrifice meant the world to her, even after carving 'Endless' into her in a way similar to a person writing their name in a book of their's. Unfortunately, the connection wasn't to last. Over winter break Remy's sophomore year, her sacrifice would end up dying in a car crash after mixing alcohol and driving. The loss would crush her, with her taking the blame, and through the rest of her year, she'd fall back into her practically entirely amoral self. She'd tumble into heavy drinking, heavy partying, and a good deal of vandalism and fighting. This track record would continue straight through her sophomore year and into that of her junior year when she was paired with Balthazar Ackerman. Remy clung to him near instantly trying to prove that he was her's and that she wouldn't ever again lose a sacrifice. She needed some sort of balance, some control, anything to hold her in line in a way similar to her old partner. Balt did nothing of the sort, but that didn't mean that she didn't adore him unconditionally. She consistently was draped all over him regardless of his discomfort. It wouldn't be long before he carved his team name along her shoulders. While there was a bit of tension due to the fact that she refused to let him cross out her old team name, the action still seemed to strengthen the bond, with Balt having become far more comfortable with her as of late. |
OTHER - Her outer, right thigh has 'Endless' carved into it. - 'Bloodless' is carved across her shoulders. - Lost her ears her sophomore year, shortly after the death of her first sacrifice. - Is known for taking naps in rather unconventional places, like across tables, within cabinets in the lounge, on counters, over heating vents, and directly outside of doors. She's shown a preference for these places over beds. - Paired with Balthazar Ackerman. |
